Michelle Dinmore MSc, MCSP
As the Practice Principal, Michelle is committed to ensuring high standards, clinical excellence and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at Witney Physiotherapy Centre. She established the clinic in 1999 and has earned the trust of local GPs and Oxford consultants, many of whom regularly refer patients thanks to the reputation for high-quality care. Michelle qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1992 with a BSc (Hons), and spent many years working in the NHS, accumulating extensive knowledge of orthopaedics, trauma and spinal surgery rehabilitation. She has a particular interest in conditions affecting the neck, shoulder and upper limb. Her fascination of the complexities of pain lead her to complete a Master of Science degree in Neurophysiology at University College London, graduating with distinction. She uses acupuncture as part of her clinical toolkit to treat painful conditions.
Known for her compassionate and patient-focused approach, Michelle believes that getting to know the person in front of you is just as important as clinical knowledge; ‘The best way to support someone’s recovery is by understanding their individual experience of the problem and the impact it has on their life’ Michelle is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Physio First (the organisation for physiotherapists in private practice), and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
