Sarah Westcott BSc, MCSP

Sarah qualified as a chartered physiotherapist with BSc (Hons) in 2007 from the university of the West of England, Bristol.  Sarah started her career working in the NHS and soon developed a keen interest in working within sport. After a season working with both rugby and football teams her passion for motorsport introduced her to the world of endurance motor racing in 2009. She now supports drivers and motorbike riders at events such as the prestigious Lemans 24-hour race and the Bol Dor 24-hour motorbike race. In addition she has worked with racing drivers, both amateur and professional in a number of other racing series across Europe such as Britcar Endurance, European Lemans and World Endurance Series.

Sarah believes in empowering patients to take an active part in the treatment process and combines this with a number of treatment and rehabilitation techniques to optimise return to full function and prevent recurrence, including western acupuncture and is registered with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). She is also a qualified clinical Pilates Instructor having trained with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). 

Sarah has experience in treating sports related injuries, rehabilitating orthopaedic fractures and traumatic injuries and analysing bio-mechanical dysfunction. She also has great interest in wrist injuries and pregnancy related pain.

Sarah is registered with the Health Professionals Council and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
